| ARK Advocate is in the process of building an inventory of adaptive equipment which will be available for “check out” by individuals with special needs and their families. We are busy writing grants, finding sponsors and planning a fundraising event called the Role and Sole-a-Thon. The library will allow access to bath chairs, adaptive chairs, standers, adaptive bicycles, gait trainers and many other items when families may otherwise not be able to afford such items for their children with special needs. Keep checking back for updates to our Equipment Inventory. |

| The library also accepts tax-deductible donations of gently used adaptive equipment from families that no longer use them. The donated items are cleaned and made available for loan to other families, so that no working adaptive equipment is wasted. |

| Liam's Story |
|
 To say Liam loves to bike would be a gross understatement. However, the only access Liam has to the type of bike he needs is at school. I’ve attempted to acquire an adaptive bike through waivers and grants with no success. ARK’s lending library will allow Liam access to several tools providing not only developmental opportunities but social opportunities as well.  |
